The Segovia Avila tour starts with a guided tour in Segovia that starts under the magnificent and world famous Segovia Aqueduct and continues visiting the main tourist attractions of the city such as monuments and viewpoints that make Segovia one of the must-see excursions from Madrid: The Plaza Mayor, the spectacular Gothic Cathedral of Santa Maria, the Mirador de Canaleja, and another of its tourist icons the Alcazar of Segovia, the unique castle with the appearance of a Disney fairytale palace at the entrance of which we will end the guided tour of Segovia.
When booking you can choose your excursion to Segovia and Avila with the guided visit to the Alcázar of Segovia included, as it is optional.
Before returning to the bus to go to Avila we will have free time to continue enjoying Segovia at our own pace.
The Segovia Avila tour continues with a guided tour of the city of Avila where you will discover the history, curiosities and legends of the best preserved city wall in the world and of the most famous Spanish saint, Saint Teresa. On the guided tour we visit the impressive medieval city walls, the splendid Gothic Cathedral, the Romanesque Basilica of St. Vincent, the small market square and the baroque Convent-Church of St. Teresa among other places of interest.
